Multimedia Journalist
Jesus is a multimedia journalist, hailing from the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College – CUNY. Prior to immigrating to the United States, Jesus has worked in the journalism and media industry in Trinidad and Tobago for six years, starting with a youth media production company, TGN Media. While at TGN Media, he was contracted with CNC3, and then ultimately moved to Caribbean New Media Group (CNMG). Jesus has held roles as diverse as studio operator, editor, and master control operator. During his time in media, Jesus has had the opportunity to gain many news and production skills and cover many events, namely the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and the 5th Summit of the Americas, both in 2009. He is currently working in the retail sector, aspiring to return to the news media industry as a broadcast journalist covering the political beat, as well as investigative reporting.
